
| Not being a front line station, the Families Days at RAF Wyton are a bit bereft of visiting and flying aircraft and rely mainly on passing traffic from the Families Day at Cottesmore or aircraft on transit to and from the air show at Lowestoft.
Rain was forecast for the afternoon and as soon as the Falcons Parachute Team had touched down , the heavens opened for about 40 minutes. The Barnstormers went up after the storm and the grey sky, lightning and rumbling thunder giving a nice backdrop to the limbo, flour bombing and balloon bursting. All flying shots taken with a Tamron 200-500mm zoom. |
